Been Gone Too Long
7 Things You Should Know This Week: GoFundMe Campaign for My Sister, Mindfulness, Spring Affirmations, Brand Design or Nah, New Music (and Lyric Vide), and more!
Hey! What’s Jazzin’?
It's been a while since I last wrote to you all. I know that it's been a while since I've sent out a newsletter. I appreciate your patience with me. I've had to work through some personal and family challenges. Still, I've been busy making music, spending time producing (videos, too), designing websites for my clients, and writing my book. These have all helped me find a new rhythm —and it feels excellent! Let’s jump (back) into it! It’s time for 7 things you should know this month.
Here we go…
I spent the first three weeks of May in Jacksonville, Florida, visiting my sister Alana. A week before my visit, my sister's oncologist informed her that the tumor in her uterus had returned and was growing aggressively. It's one thing to lose a loved one, but watching them die is different. I feel for all of you who have experienced the latter. I wish there were something I could do to make this easier for her. But there's not. I wanted to help her as much as she would allow, so I started a GoFundMe page for the Alana Bell Cancer Fund with her permission. Last year, she was diagnosed with cancer and had had an extremely difficult time physically and emotionally. Still, she keeps going because she wants to help others going through similar situations with their health issues. If it’s not asking too much, consider donating. We thank you in advance!
Since I last wrote to you, I launched a new podcast, "The Mindful Restart," specifically geared toward helping the conscious collective. I hope you gain clarity on mindfulness, mediation, and affirmations and even learn some spiritual growth hacks on the podcast. It's been a wild ride so far - I've had more downloads and subscribers than I ever imagined possible in such a short amount of time! My goal with this podcast is to help people searching for clarity on their path in life but are unsure of where to start. By sharing my own stories and experiences, I hope to help others discover their path and live the best life possible.
Got an idea for a new logo for a new product? Well, if you do — then this might be right up your alley. I created a new whitepaper specifically devoted to folks understanding whether it’s Brand Design or Nah.
I.C.Y.M.I. - I created a Spring Elevation Affirmations video using 432Hz frequencies in early April. Since I started the Affirmations Meditation series, it has helped to calm me down when I'm anxious or stressed and helps me connect with my thoughts. I hope it does the same for you — and with the New Moon in Gemini, now is a good time to affirm and manifest.
My original music score: QUADRILOGY was officially released on April 11, 2022, to all online streaming services!! I decided to release it ahead of my upcoming historical fiction podcast series: “Time Traveler’s Digest”, which is still in development — and guess what? The book cover is designed!
Can you believe I just finished the 12th chapter of my book? One of the biggest challenges for me as a writer has been creating engaging dialogue. So, this month’s book recommendation is called “Dialogue: The Art of Verbal Action for the Page, Stage, and Screen” by Robert McKee. McKee provides an in-depth analysis of how characters speak — and this book has been golden for me!
Lastly, I’m releasing new music ahead of my newest EP appropriately entitled “Sentiments”. This Friday, June 3, 2022, you’ll get a chance to experience my first single — it’s the steamiest, sexiest, and most sensual lyric video — to date called “Liquid Love” and it will be available wherever you download and stream your music.
That's all for now— I appreciate you taking the time to read it all, and most of all, I am grateful for your continued support and patronage! The best way to support my work is to buy my music, hire me for digital content creation or voice-over work, or become a paid subscriber.
Be amazing and let’s keep creating an adventure of a lifetime.
Until then, See you next week!
