As a technologist, I reflect on my 14-year journey in music production. The essence of my creations lies in the fusion of love, life, passion, intention, solitude, experimentation, grief, and the transformative power of grief into both auditory and visual beauty.
My insatiable passion has led me to a path of discovery only few have ventured into. I intentionally meant for all the grief and loss I’ve experienced to be transmuted from his lowed frequency to beauty and the highest frequencies: curiosity, beauty, excitement for new experiences that defy predictability.
As an independent artist not signed to a label, my music rests on intentional beats and harmonies, born from hours of introspection and silence. Like many artists and creators, grief, like an uninvited guest, occasionally intrudes into our work, giving us a reason to create in the first place.
The Human Design System, a fusion of ancient and contemporary sciences, provides a holistic framework for comprehending individual personalities, decision-making processes, and life trajectories. Created by Ra Uru Hu in 1987, it merges elements from astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, the Chakra system, and quantum physics. At the heart of this system lie the concepts of Type, Authority, and Profile, which collectively define one’s innate strengths, decision-making strategies, and life themes.
In Human Design, there are five primary Types: Manifestors, Generators, Manifesting Generators, Projectors, and Reflectors. Generators, comprising around 70% of the population, possess a potent and enduring life force characterized by a steady sacral energy. As a Generator, I understand my primary role is to respond to external stimuli rather than initiate actions. This responsive nature is rooted in my defined Sacral Center, which serves as a reliable source of energy and intuition.
I find this interesting, especially after I have been studying The Human Design System off and on over the past few years. I’ve learned how to create, lead, coach, and operate as a Generator, as I’ve learned my profile, the thematic pathways through which individuals interact with the world. They are a combination of two numbers, each derived from specific lines of the I Ching. The 2/5 Profile, known as the Hermit Heretic, embodies a unique interplay between introspection and universalization, and with a Sacral Authority, my sacral energy effectively responds to opportunities that align with their inherent talents and societal roles. I am moved by intuition, feel, and gut. I’m designed that way. I am meant to respond. These creations: whether it’s electronic music, pixel-bending with generative AI or creating what I call “Temporal Visions” aka visualizers, it’s all a response.
Whether it’s a response to loss, hopelessness, or those “low vibrating frequencies”, I refuse to let sorrow and chaos remain stagnant inside my body; I channel it into audible art, transforming emotional upheaval into something uniquely expressive, manifesting in both sound and vision.
These moments are about transforming heaviness into beauty—a series of experiments that serve as a personal testament to creation.
Some may call me “too much,” “crazy,” “amazing” — and trust me, I’ve been called all of them. I am a co-creator in my life’s existence. At the end of the day, the heart of my process lies insion between method and wild exploration.
Today, I commemorate and celebrate many, many nights lost to invention, where beats and harmonies clash and reconcile in unexpected ways. These are the moments that shape my sound. I push boundaries, break the rules I once deemed absolute. These experiences are the catalysts that give my music a true reflection of a life driven by balance: order and art.
